About the A2RT

The A2RT from Blue Water Design is a rugged, low-power ALERT2 remote telemetry unit built for continuous, unattended operation in remote environments. The A2RT integrates an ALERT2 transmitter with a flexible sensor management and data recording platform, providing all the logic needed to run remote ALERT2 site in a single, easy-to-deply package. Powered with a solar panel and battery, the A2RT delivers reliable, low-power operation across a broad temperature range of -40 - +80°C.

The A2RT supports up to four analog and sixteen SDI12 sensors for data collection. Measurements are stored locally and transmitted efficiently and in real-time using the ALERT2 protocol. The on-board MPPT solar charge regulator ensures efficient charging via a solar panel, while the switched digital output supports local control applications.

The A2RT includes an intuitive configuration application, an all-in-one design with easy-to-use connectors, and provides regular status reporting so you can identify issues quickly and easily.

Room for all of your sensors

With a pulse counter, four analog inputs and two SDI-12 sensor buses, the A2RT can handle a wide range of data inputs.

Simple Site Design

With an integrated solar charger and built-in radio mounting brackets, the hardware you need for an ALERT2 site forms a single, compact package.

Technician friendly

Built with the system installation and maintenance in mind, the A2RT is full of technician friendly features. Easy-to-use spring clip connectors make wiring a breeze. Real-time feedback on GPS signal quality and sensor measurements let you see what's happening at a glance. Use the integrated transmit button to perform radio tests, or to run a final "post-maintenance" check of the site.
